We have finally reached the final week in our home before we close on the house and hit the road. To say it has been an emotional rollercoaster might be the understatement of the year. The stress of packing and staging and selling a house is plenty on its own, but let’s go ahead and add a crazy life changing adventure on top of it.

ALL THE FEELS!

We are excited for the adventure ahead, nervous as we step into the unknown, and sad to be leaving the home that we brought all of our babies home to. Tuck is sad to be leaving school and is spending every last moment that he can playing with his friends on the block. Max is excited to live in the RV, and Zac, bless his heart, just goes with the flow. I have started to say goodbye to my MOPS group and my women’s Bible study. These groups have been lifelines for me and I will miss them deeply. We also say goodbye to our amazing group of friends at church, but know that they will journey with us during this season of life, just like they have done for the past 10 plus years. Saying good bye is hard, but knowing that it is just goodbye for now makes it a little easier. We have a weekend full of family time on the schedule so we don’t have to cross that bridge yet. But, through it all the most constant is a peace that we are doing exactly what we need to be doing. God has been so faithful in leading us in this process and putting people in our path to encourage us at just the right moment.

We are starting to finally be able to make plans for our first few stops and are so excited that we will be able to be in Dallas for Thanksgiving! We get to spend it with extended family that we don’t see very often. We are also looking forward to seeing other friends in Texas as well. If you are in Texas we want to see you!!

Our next post will be from the road, headed to Kansas and Oklahoma. @thepioneerwoman, we are coming for ya, save us a seat at The Merc!

Please pray for us as we take the hardest step on this journey, the first one…

Live your adventure,

Julie and the Boys
